Canister vacuum cleaner

When you were younger can remember that big and bulky upright making that humming noise as Grandma vacuumed her house. Today the vacuums are a lot smaller, weigh less and make less noise but are they any better at the job they are made for.

Choosing between a canister vacuum and an upright vacuum cleaner can

be quite difficult both have some great features. Which would you choose? The distinct advantages of the upright vacuum cleaner over the canister vacuum cleaner are the large bag that has to be replaced a lot less than the canister vacuums bag. The long attachment hose that is very flexible can virtually reach anywhere or under most anything and they are very good for large areas of the home.

The disadvantages are that if you have to take them upstairs they are heavy and hard to get up the stairs also if you need to transport one they are hard to get in a car and a lot of them do not have a heap filter system to stop allergens.

they are easy to maneuver under furniture they do have a hepa filter system that helps to prevent allergens in the home for a cleaner environment. The canister vacuum is much lighter and easier to get upstairs or into a car if you need to transport it. Most people report that the canister vacuum cleaner has more suction power than the upright vacuum cleaner.

The disadvantage of the canister vacuum cleaner is you have to pull it around behind you as you vacuum but they have incorporated the capabilities of a cordless vacuum cleaner where you do not have to really on power.
